Stats: 58 Percent of Americans Would Take a Cruise Right Now

A “back-to-normal” survey conducted by Sports and Leisure Research Group compared travel and leisure attitudes in September 2001 and July 2009 to today—and it found that a majority of Americans who took a cruise in the past year would go on a cruise right now in spite of widespread health concerns from COVID-19 (coronavirus). Stats: Cruise Booking Window Expanding

CruiseCompete has released its CruiseTrends report for the month of April 2020. Of note, the booking window for contemporary/premium, luxury and rivers cruises are, on average, being booked further out. While the window shrunk a bit for contemporary/premium cruises from March to April, the numbers are still up from January and February. (travelagentcentral.com)
