International Cruise Victims’ founder and Chairman, Ken Carver, Passed Away

“It is with deep sadness that International Cruise Victims must notify our members and friends that ICV founder and Chairman, Ken Carver passed away on December 30, 2019 after a brief illness”.

“We are grateful and deeply touched by the wishes of Ken’s family that this information should be shared with you all.

The hard work and energy Ken poured into ICV will be his great legacy. Our mission now, as advocates for cruise ship victims of all types of crime, neglect, and trauma will be to make sure that Ken’s legacy lives on. We have much work ahead of us.

The amazing man that Ken was would want this work to continue. Therefore, we will persevere and see our way through this sad time. Ken leaves behind unfillable shoes, but we can be relatively certain, that somewhere from above he will still be calling all the shots anyway and urging us on.

A date will soon be set for our annual board of directors meeting and we will send out another update afterwards. Meanwhile, Ken’s family issued the following obituary which I know you will appreciate.”
