Citing increased demand from European river cruises, the Bonn-based cruise operator Phoenix Reisen has made a last-minute move to add new ships to its fall program. The “William Wordsworth” and “Geoffrey Chaucer” are charted from the shipping company Scylla AG, sailing on the Rhine, Moselle and Danube rivers until October.

The Albatros will leave the Phoenix Reisen fleet, according to a press release, with the German tour operator citing the COVID-19 pandemic. Lloyd Werft Bremerhaven is expecting Phoenix Reisen’s Artania to arrive in its Kaiserdock II on November 17 for a stay lasting about three weeks, according to a press release.
