The HANSEATIC spirit of Hapag-Lloyd Cruises successfully completes its first major docking period
The newest ship of the HANSEATIC class of Hapag-Lloyd Cruises was due for its first scheduled docking period in Bremerhaven. The public areas of the HANSEATIC spirit, in particular, were refurbished with precision and style in line with the “inspired by nature” design concept to give the ship, which was commissioned in 2021, a fresh new look. Following her stay in the shipyard, AIDAdiva will start on her first voyage from Warnemünde to the Norwegian fjords on Saturday, May 14, 2022. 
The Crystal Serenity is entering a drydock at the Lloyd Werft Bremerhaven shipyard for a major refit, reducing the ship’s capacity by 90 guests as Crystal adds 36 new Penthouses and two new Penthouse Suites to replace current staterooms, as well as updated public spaces and new dining venues. Over 600 specialists, from 80 mostly international companies, spent the last two weeks working on modernizations, cosmetic repairs and various structural elements on the ship.
