Phoenix Reisen has announced that it has extended its charter of the Deutschland until 2025. “We are very pleased that we can continue to offer the ship to our guests and that the future of the popular “dream” ship is secured,” said Phoenix Reisen Managing Director Benjamin Krumpen. In the summer the fleet sails in Northern Europe and during the rest of the year, Phoenix Reisen’s cruise ships trade the world. The Albatros will sail from Bremerhaven this summer, the Amadea from Hamburg and Bremerhaven, the Artania from Bremerhaven and Kiel, and the Deutschland on her seasonal summer charter out of Bremerhaven (Phoenix Reisen splits the ship with Semester at Sea, which operates it during the winter).
