The 62nd edition of the General Assembly of MedCruise, the Association of Mediterranean Cruise Ports, representing more than 150 cruise ports from 22 countries and three continents, will be hosted by the Port of Corfu, from 23rd -26th May 2023 in Corfu, Greece. 
On Sunday May 7 the Port of Tarragona’s Balears Wharf received three cruise ships simultaneously for the second time. 
2023 cruise season has started at the Port of Leixões and in the first days of April, three ships visited the port for the first time. 
Earth Day was established in 1970, in the USA, and marks the birth of the modern environmental movement. Soon, it spread throughout the world and today, it is celebrated in more than 190 countries around the planet.
On Thursday April 20, in the Roger de Llúria room of the Tarragona Port headquarters, the institutional and business representatives who make up the membership of the Institutional Cruise Board met to analyse the beginning of the 2023 season, as well as the prospects for the rest of the year. 
The Port expects to host 55 cruise ships and 98,000 passengers during this season that began on April 6 and will end in mid-December.
With a dedicated stand at the disposal of its members and associated members, MedCruise organised more than 60 meetings and held several presentations. 
The Heraklion Port Authority S.A. (HPA) held on the 25th January 2023 a Conference at the Technical Chamber of Greece, Department of East Crete, in Heraklion, where the project “Upgrading and expansion of the existing jetty and installation of a wave energy production system at the Port of Heraklion – HUPPINES” was presented.
The Italian Cruise Day 2023 event was presented during the press conference held on January 20th 2023, in the Hall of Mirrors of the Taranto Municipality.
