A hearing is set Wednesday in Miami federal court for an update on what steps Carnival is taking. The Miami-based cruise company, the largest in the world, is charged with violating its probation. Federal prosecutors announced last week that they reached a deal with Carnival Corp. on the charges, which include dumping plastic into Bahamian waters and falsifying records. (miamiherald.com)
