Infrastructure woes sharply slowed down Australian market growth last year

Sydney: ‘We’ve had enough erosion of our culture’: Indigenous fishing threatened by cruise plan

On Saturday Indigenous leaders Tim Ella and Trevor Walker will hold a fishing day at Yarra Bay, a cove on the north-eastern side of Botany Bay. Mr Ella and Mr Walker expect more than 100 people to turn up, mostly schoolchildren, and the two elders will spend much of the day passing on the traditional net-fishing skills they learned as children in southern Sydney.
