A steel cutting ceremony has been held for Spirit of Adventure, Saga Cruises’ second bespoke-built boutique ship. This follows the first new build ship, Spirit of Discovery, which will be launching in July this year. 
As the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings approaches on June 6, 2019, Saga guests can visit Omaha Beach and the cemetery for American soldiers at Colleville sur Mer, in Normandy, during a seven-night river cruise with a choice of eight departures including June 1.
Former Fleet Street journalist Louise Robinson has been appointed Editor of Saga Magazine. Her appointment comes as the brand is evolving its editorial strategy by developing a multi-channel approach to content and its hugely successful Possibilities membership programme. 

The chance to immerse yourself in the culture of Spain and North Africa makes a voyage aboard elegant ship Saga Pearl II far more than a sightseeing cruise.
