In breaking news, Antarctica’s Ross Sea has been declared a Marine Protected Area today, 28 Oct 2016. The decision was made in Hobart, Australia by CCAMLR (Commission for the Conservation of Antarctic Marine Living Resources), after years of campaigning by a number of different countries and lobby groups.
