Leaders of Cruise Lines International Association Meet With Mayor of Dubrovnik to Discuss State of the Tourism Industry

MSC Magnifica at DubrovnikThe Mayor of the City of Dubrovnik, Mato Franković, and his associates met with the management team of Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) along with high-level representatives of the world’s leading cruise lines on Thursday in Hamburg, to discuss the current state of the tourism industry within Dubrovnik.



Three awards for AIDA

The AIDAPrima at Hamburg  (Courtesy AIDA Cruises)On September 5, 2017, AIDA Cruises received the “German Cruise Line Award” three times at Seatrade Europe in Hamburg, the leading exhibition for the cruise industry. AIDA won in the categories Environmental Commitment and Favorite Ship. The award presented by the port association Atlantic Alliance also went to AIDA Cruises for its year-round operation of AIDAprima in the Atlantic west-coast region.



CLIA Reports on a productive Port and Destination Summit

The Cruise Line International Association (CLIA) hosted its fourth Port and Destination Summit on 5th September. Over 260 international partners of CLIA Executive Partner Program, including 50 cruise line executives gathered at the Hamburg Messe and Congress GmbH Hamburg, one day before the Seatrade Europe Cruise & River Convention official opening. French Mediterranean ports exhibiting together at Seatrade Europe

For the very first time at Seatrade Cruise Europe, all the French Med Ports are exhibiting together on the same stand (608) with a surface area of 72m 2 . A new logo has been launched to help identify the French Med Ports : their strategic goal is to help promote together the navigation area of south of France and increase the cruise call activity in each of the French Med ports. Hamburg Cruise Days 2017: AIDAprima leads the grand ships’ parade
