Today, Celebrity Cruises unveils for the very first time details about what travelers can experience on board the brand’s newest resort at sea, Celebrity Ascent, once it launches this November. 
When Celebrity Cruises introduces the fifth ship in the revolutionary Edge Series, it will feature the collaborative efforts of its parent company Royal Caribbean Group, technology group Wärtsilä and shipyard Chantiers de L’Atlantique (CdA) to advance the use of alternative fuels for the cruise industry. 
The project on MSC World Europa represents an important milestone for ALMACO as it is the first laundry delivery and the biggest catering area delivery in the history of the company. 
Today, a keel-laying ceremony for the first LNG-powered ship of the industry-defining Oasis Class took place at the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France. 


As company executives signed the ceremonial first cut of steel for the fourth ship in Celebrity Cruises’ award-winning Edge Series at the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France, the cruise line that took consumers to the Edge® and ApexSM of luxury travel, and will soon show consumers BeyondSM what anyone thought possible for a cruise ship, revealed it will climb even higher with the beginning of construction on Celebrity Ascent.
