The strong gusts of wind, in the wave of bad weather that hit, after the Marches, Emilia Romagna, reached a speed close to the 150 kilometers per hour. An impressive power, in Ravenna the Viking Sea cruise ship broke its moorings at the cruise terminal of Porto Corsini.
The wind pushed it away from the quay and it was necessary to proceed with a joint and extraordinary intervention of the Captaincy and nautical technicians to make it safe.
