Successful First Sea Trials for Royal Caribbean International’s Symphony of the Seas at STX France

Over the 80 hours of sailing, Symphony of the Seas was able to cover 1,000 nautical miles (1852km) off Belle-Île island.

During the trial, the full range of the ship’s systems were activated at sea, most of those being already adjusted and presented for commissioning both to the client and to the classification society.

Each and every expected performance was reached.
A second short sea trip will be necessary before the delivery to complete a few more nautical performances trials.

Currently in its completion phase, the ship, which is the largest ever, will be delivered late March to the Royal Caribbean International shipowner.
