President Abinader inaugurates Cabo Rojo Port expansion – Dominican Republic
As part of efforts to develop the South and the Enriquillo region, President Luis Abinader inaugurated the second phase of the Port Cabo Rojo, a facility capable of receiving two large oasis-type cruise ships and welcoming up to 15,000 visitors.
He also inaugurated a new aqueduct, which will benefit 8,000 rooms in the tourist area.
During the inauguration, the third cruise ship arrived in Pedernales—Royal Caribbean’s Adventure of the Seas, carrying more than 3,000 passengers.
