Disney Cruise Line will debut an enchanting cruise ship float in the 95th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. The imaginatively designed “ship” has been christened  Magic Meets the Sea and offers a first look at the fantastical style of the Disney Wish. The float will feature 15 favorite Disney friends who represent the stories and experiences aboard Disney’s newest cruise ship. Manhattan Cruise Terminal to Host Hospital Ship

Hospital ship USNS Comfort assigned to New YorkManhattan Cruise Terminal and Pier 90 are set to play host to the USNS Comfort hospital ship, which is scheduled to arrive on Monday. The hospital ship, with 1,000 beds, is set to leave Norfolk over the weekend, while work is speeding along in Manhattan to dredge the berth thanks to the Army Corps of Engineers, according to a spokesperson from the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC), which essentially oversees the city’s cruise facilities. Travel Weekly proudly presents the 2019 Readers Choice Awards

This year’s winners were announced at the 17th annual Readers Choice Awards Gala at the Conrad New York on Dec. 12. Airlines, cruise lines, hotels and more competed in a total of 79 categories this year. MSC Meraviglia has become the largest ship to ever dock in Manhattan, New York City. The cruise ship, with a capacity for 4,488 guests and a gross tonnage of 171,598 GRT, yesterday (Oct.7) arrived in the Big Apple after a trans-Atlantic crossing from Kiel in Germany with calls in Copenhagen, Denmark; Southampton, England; Belfast, Northern Ireland; Reykjavík, Iceland, plus St John and Halifax in Canada. Carnival Sunrise Officially Named By Godmother Kelly Arison In New York
