Norwegian Cruise deal for migrants unlikely, city seeks cheaper options

Norwegian Breakaway at New YorkMayor Eric Adams’ plan to house migrants at a Norwegian Cruise Line ship docked off Staten Island has fizzled because it’s too expensive and the city wants a “cheaper option,” a top City Hall official said Friday.

The Adams administration was close to a final deal with NCL last week, The Post previously reported — but discussions broke down after Norwegian Cruise executives wanted to charge too much.
