Architecture and the open sea – Le Corbusier’s love of the ocean liner
A new exhibition (“Ocean Liners: Speed and Style” is on display at the Victoria and Albert museum until June 17th) explores the impact passenger ships had on design. Their influence can particularly be felt in the modernist’s functional, streamlined buildings. (economist.com)
