Mike is very well-known within the travel industry, having worked in many areas of the travel trade, including retail, tour operating, tourist boards and airline sales, across a career spanning over 40 years. The ‘CruiseCopenhagen Ambassador Award’ is given annually to a personality within the cruise industry who has played an active role to promote Denmark as a cruise destination. This year’s winner Martin Lister, Head of Itinerary Planning and Destination Experience for Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines is pleased to announce on ‘World Environment Day’ that it has introduced a ban on the use of plastic straws on its four ocean ships – Balmoral, Braemar, Boudicca and Black Watch.
