Crystal is making some design changes to its upcoming luxury ocean-going ships. While plans are still being confirmed, the ships will now likely be smaller, and without a dedicated deck of privately owned luxury residences, a Crystal representative tells Travel Agent. (travelagentcentral.com)

Enhancing the sky-high capabilities of its Bombardier Global Express Jet XRS, Crystal Luxury Air recently completed a refurbishment of that jet that includes a completely revamped connectivity platform as well as new entertainment options for its guests. Crystal Cruises has announced the appointment of Kari Tarnowski as vice president of marketing based in the company’s Miami office. Reporting directly to Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sales Carmen Roig, Tarnowski will lead all marketing efforts for Crystal including advertising, digital, direct mail, loyalty programs and marketing communications. Edie Rodriguez, who has led Crystal Cruises in its expansion since October 2013, resigned Friday. Rodriguez said her sudden departure from the luxury cruise line, which has offices in Miami, was “very amicable.”
