Tarragona Cruise Port presents its novelties for 2023 at FITUR. The signing of an agreement with MSC will bring 26 stopovers during the coming season (Image at LateCruiseNews.com - January 2023)At FITUR (Feria Internacional de Turismo – Ifema Madrid) today Tarragona Cruise Port presented the city of Tarragona as an excellent Mediterranean cruise destination.

It also announced an agreement with the MSC shipping company for 26 cruise stopovers in the Port of Tarragona by the liner MSC Magnifica during the 2023 season. The announcement was made today, January 19, at 11 am on the State Ports stand at FITUR by Marta Farrero, manager of the Tarragona-Costa Daurada Provincial Government Tourism Board; Victor Franquet, Tarragona Tourism manager; Pilar Parra, State Ports corporate director; and Fernando Pacheco, general manager for MSC Cruises in Spain.

With this announcement, Tarragona will become the embarkation city for the MSC Magnifica’s cruises during the 2023 season. The liner will operate a seven-night itinerary on the Western Mediterranean from the Port of Tarragona with calls at Toulon (France), Genoa, Civitavecchia/Rome, Livorno/Pisa (Italy), and Valencia (Spain).
