Fred Olsen Jr has resigned from his position as chair of namesake company Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines following a 35-year tenure in the industry
The move was confirmed to TTG on Monday (22 August) by the line’s managing director, Peter Deer.
“In early July, Fred Olsen Jnr resigned as chairman of Fred Olsen Cruise Lines, and from our board, following a long tenure of 35 years in the cruise industry,” he added.
The boards for Fred Olsen Cruise Lines and its holding company continue to comprise Fred and Anette Olsen, Richard Aa, Deer and Jeremy Dowler.
