Marco Polo Special 75th D-Day Anniversary Event
Cruise and Maritime Voyages regret that we have to cancel the D-Day Anniversary Event in Portsmouth this evening Saturday, 8th June.
Marco Polo was due to sail from Rouen on Friday evening at 1915hrs but due to adverse weather and marine conditions with strong winds reaching 50 knots which were forecasted for her navigational passage down the River Seine and following consultation with the Pilot & Port Authorises, we took the decision to delay our departure from Rouen.
Unfortunately, we missed the tidal window to leave Rouen Friday evening. The next available tidal window was at 0745hrs Saturday morning which consequently delayed our arrival into Portsmouth until 2100hrs on Saturday evening.
We will be refunding all monies paid for the overnight event including car parking, as well as offering you a 10% discount on a future event or cruise of up to 15 nights duration and to be booked by 31st July 2019. Refunds will be processed within 14 days.
