Cunard Awarded Best Large-Ship Cruise Line at Global Traveler’s Leisure Lifestyle Awards

Luxury cruise line company Cunard was named Best Large-Ship Cruise Line by Global Traveler’s Lifestyle Leisure Awards, which was announced at the awards ceremony held at the Sofitel Los Angeles hotel in Beverly Hills on Thursday, May 10.

Global Traveler conducted a survey of its nearly 300,000 readers from October 1, 2017 through January 31, 2018, with open-ended questions to determine the best in many categories of leisure, luxury and lifestyle travel. The survey ran in the magazine, as an insert to subscriber copies, as a direct mail questionnaire, online and via email.

Cunard’s three Queens – Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria, and Queen Elizabeth – are known for their luxury on a grand scale experience, offering awe-inspiring voyages around the globe and unparalleled on board programming. The company holds a unique place in the cruise landscape, continuing a long legacy of great ocean liners with passage to iconic destinations and the luxury of time at sea on transatlantic travel.

“We are honored to receive this recognition from Global Traveler’s discerning readers,” said Josh Leibowitz, senior vice president, Cunard North America. “We always strive to ensure that the experience of sailing on one of our three Queens continues to set the standard for luxurious ocean travel and we are grateful to be consistently acknowledged by the magazine and their readers.”
