FleetPro Passenger Ship Management called again River Advice
After the successful sale of the seagoing ship management business in October 2015, followed by a management buyout in December 2015, River Advice (formerly FleetPro) returns under the former name with a new brand presence back to its roots, with the management of river cruise ships.
Robert Straubhaar, Partner and CEO of the group founded River Advice in 2004. The company currently operates more than 1,500 employees and 45 river cruise ships for around 20 tour operators and ship owners.
“As a leading and globally operating management company for the global river cruise industry, we want to continue to provide our services under the name River Advice” says Robert Straubhaar.
“The name River Advice stands for expertise, quality of service, is in the sector well known and established in the market.”
Also on board the River Advice management are Felix Ammann (CFO) and Daniel Buchmüller (CSO). Frank Reisenbichler, EVP Hotel Operations, and Andreas Blaim, VP Operations, who joined the company in March 2016, share the hospitality area.
Since January of this year, Günter Becker (VP Nautic) is responsible for the nautical operation. The technical department reports to Axel Ryll, VP Technic.
The company’s management is pleased to continue to provide under the River Advice brand professional customized services in the fields of shipping management, administration, deck & engine, catering & hospitality, safety & security, ship’s financing, insurance management, shipbuilding and ship conversion support. River Advice is the competence center for the international river cruise industry.
