Cruise Europe Members Scoop Seatrade Awards
Iain Dunderdale received the outstanding achievement award, Liverpool the destination of the year award and Passenger Terminal Amsterdam the port of the year award at the Seatrade Cruise Awards in Hamburg yesterday.
Dunderdale, cruise development manager Cruise Highlands, received the award for his advocacy in promoting Scotland’s growing cruise business for more than 25 years. He was instrumental in forming Cruise Europe and also Cruise Scotland.
Genuinely taken by surprise and clearly delighted, he commented: “I always thought I was a wee cog in the wheel”. Maybe so but a very effective and much respected one.
