Aqua Expeditions Upgrading Both Amazon Cruise Ships: Aqua Amazon And Aria Amazon
Aqua Expeditions has announced new renovations to its two Peruvian Aqua Amazon vessels, the Aqua Amazon and the Aria Amazon. The upgrades are being overseen by the boats’ original designer, renowned Peruvian architect Jordi Puig.
“As the leader and pioneer of small ship luxury cruising on the Amazon and Mekong, we want our boats to always be top-of-the-line and at the forefront of guest comfort and experience,” says Francesco Galli Zugaro, CEO and Founder of Aqua Expeditions.
“As our travelers’ needs and expectations evolve, so must our products. Both boats have a newly refreshed, elegant look about them that is indicative of our vision to provide a unique world-class experience.”
The vessels are being revamped head-to-toe, with exteriors featuring new woodwork, painting and awnings. New wood flooring has been installed throughout most common areas; all suites are being redone with new floors, furniture and amenities, and bathrooms with new floors and tiles. Both vessels feature new upholstered furniture, new wall coverings and lighting. New skiffs have also been added on each vessel and seat up to 10 passengers.
With these upgrades, guests of Aqua Expeditions can experience a heightened level of Aria Amazon comfort on what were already the most luxurious boats on the Amazon, and the Aqua Amazon and Aria Amazon will continue to maintain their position as leaders in luxury small ship expeditions cruising.
