Carnival Cruise Line Appoints First Female Staff Captain
Daniela Gargiulo is Carnival Cruise Line’s first female Staff Captain.
Gargiulo was appointed to the role during a ceremony aboard Carnival Adventure, where Captain Francesco Bencivenga officially welcomed her as his second-in-command while the ship was returning to Sydney from the South Pacific.
Gargiulo joined Carnival Cruise Line as a Deck Cadet in 2013 and has progressed through the ranks over 13 years of service. She joined Carnival Adventure last year.
