First Look at Orient-Express’ Unique New Sailing Yacht Corinthian
The first ship, or more accurately, yacht, from hotel brand Orient-Express launches today at the shipyard where it was built, Chantiers del’Atlantique, in St Nazaire, France.
The 110-guest OE Corinthian has 54 suites, a Michelin-starred restaurant and so much gold, marble, teak and leather furniture that Orient Express Sailing Yachts had to get a special certificate to sail.
Orient-Express, ultimately owned by French hotel group, Accor, is the latest hotel group to build a ship: Ritz Carlton Yacht Collection has two vessels, Evrima and Ilma, with a third on the way, Luminara; and Four Seasons has just launched a vessel, Four Seasons I, with a sister on the way.
