Aurora Expeditions (Logo)Building on its 35-year legacy of responsible exploration, the report details Aurora’s measurable progress, reaffirming the company’s commitment to exploration that actively protects the places it visits.

Aurora Expeditions, a global leader in responsible expedition travel and a Certified B Corporation™, has released its 2025 Impact Report, showcasing major strides in environmental stewardship, scientific collaboration and community engagement globally.

As the second comprehensive review of Aurora’s purpose, vision and values, the report serves as a key benchmark in the company’s ongoing journey, detailing how these guiding principles have shaped its decisions, partnerships, and practices over the past two years and continue to inform the business it is building for the future.

In addition, the 2025 Impact Report highlights a year of measurable progress, including:

◉ The launch of the Ocean Regeneration program replacing traditional carbon offsetting. Under the circular impact model, for every passenger who joins an expedition, Aurora funds the planting of kelp forests, seagrass meadows and coral restoration, along with the removal of ocean-bound waste.

◉ Aurora became the first expedition company to trial CounterCurrent’s AI ship routing, a project designed to allow ships to flow with currents, reducing fuel consumption.

◉ Through their partnership with Cleaner Seas, Aurora became the first expedition company to install microplastic filters on a ship (Douglas Mawson), preventing Microplastics from entering the ocean.

◉ More than 74,000 children across 195 countries accessed free environmental courses filmed in Antarctica, the Arctic, and Iceland through Aurora’s partnership with Upschool.

◉ Driven by legislation in Europe, Sylvia Earle became the first Infinity Class ship to successfully trial a 100% biofuel

“Every expedition leaves a footprint, and our responsibility is to minimize that impact and create a shift in the way people think so that they come back with a passion to protect our planet,” said Michael Heath, CEO of Aurora Expeditions. “Our 2025 Impact Report reflects our commitment to investing in restoring and regenerating the environments we visit.”

Aurora’s Impact Report reviews the company’s program of initiatives through the focus areas of ‘Planet’ and ‘People.” Key Highlights from the 2025 Impact Report include:
