The European River Cruise Specialist VIVA Cruises Appoints Stefan De Schepper as Chief Financial Officer
The European River cruise specialist VIVA Cruises is pleased to announce the appointment of Stefan De Schepper as Chief Financial Officer, effective 1 July 2025.
This strategic addition to the leadership team reflects the company’s continued growth and its commitment to reinforcing its executive structure as it expands across both national and international markets.
Stefan De Schepper brings a wealth of experience in financial leadership within the travel and hospitality industry. He holds a Master’s degree in Economic Sciences with a specialization in accounting and auditing. His career began in financial auditing before progressing into senior finance roles.
Over the past seven years, Stefan has served at the Scylla Group as Group Financial Controller and Group Finance Director, where he led the execution of financial strategy, operational finance processes, and data-driven automation projects, while also supporting sustainability initiatives.
As CFO of VIVA Cruises, Stefan will be responsible for leading strategic financial planning, overseeing financial operations, and providing the insights needed to support scalable and sustainable growth. His appointment comes at a pivotal moment as the European river cruise specialist continues to expand its presence across Europe and beyond.
