GNTO secretary visits Miami for Seatrade Cruise Global 2025 exhibition
Secretary-General of the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) Andreas Fiorentinos visited Miami for the international Seatrade Cruise Global 2025 exhibition this week and met, among others, with Chris Alexander Korfiatis, vice president of Fleet Technical Operations at Royal Caribbean Group.
Fiorentinos and Korfiatis discussed the possibilities of utilizing Greek shipyards – such as the Skaramangas Shipyards – for ship repair and maintenance work, as well as the group’s interest in docking at Greek ports (homeporting), with the aim of strengthening Royal Caribbean’s presence in the Eastern Mediterranean.
