Cruise ship carrying more than 2,000 passengers docks in port

A cruise ship carrying more than 2,000 passengers has docked at Portland Port. The AIDAsol cruise ship is a regular visitor to Dorset and arrived at the port at around 10am last saturday morning (Saturday, February 15) from Portugal.

The cruise ship won’t be staying long as it is set to depart at approximately 6pm towards Hamburg in Germany.

The ship is currently on a 117 day, round-trip which began on October 23, 2024, in Hamburg and will finish at on 17 Feb, 2025 in the same location.
