Port of Southampton signs sister port agreement with PortMiami
The Port of Southampton and PortMiami signed a sister port agreement during a visit from a delegation of officials from the Florida-based port and Miami-Dade County. During the visit, a city twinning agreement was also signed at the Mayor’s Parlour at the Civic centre. (more…)

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines was pleased to partner with the Cruise Lines International Association (‘CLIA’) to welcome 28 senior officials from the International Maritime Organization’s (‘IMO’) Maritime Safety Committee on board its cruise ship, Braemar, in Southampton in June 2019. 
Construction work has begun to upgrade Ocean Cruise Terminal at the Port of Southampton, to support continued growth in the cruise sector. Representatives from ABP, Carnival UK and contractors, GRAHAM, came together to mark the start of main construction work for this major investment at Ocean Terminal.
Port terminal operators SCH have expanded their cruise ship business in Southampton for 2017 by securing the stevedoring and other ship support services for calls by Silversea Cruises. 

Royal Caribbean’s newest ship, Anthem of the Seas, was named in Southampton, U.K., today (April 20) in a spectacular ceremony complete with Scottish pipers, a boy band, a DJ, the cast of Queen musical “We Will Rock You” and flashing wristbands. (cruisecritic.com)
