Holland America’s Nieuw Amsterdam, a cruise ship that, according to the company’s site, “celebrates historic New York City with an inspired design and art collection,” is currently traveling along the western coast of Canada for a 14-day tour to Alaska and back. 

Princess Cruises’ Caribbean Princess ship returned to port early over the weekend after 245 people on board fell ill from a norovirus outbreak. The same thing essentially happened on the same ship last month, when at least 371 people on a February cruise were sickened with a gastrointestinal illness. (foxnews.com)
