Today, Disney Cruise Line reached a significant construction milestone marked by the traditional keel laying ceremony of the “Disney Wish”, the first of three new ships in the line’s fleet expansion.

During a special award ceremony held this morning at the LJM Maritime Academy in Nassau, Disney Cruise Line awarded scholarships to four female cadets to attend the maritime academy.

Disney Cruise Line passengers should be aware of a change to cruises embarking and debarking from Port Canaveral. According to Disney Cruise Line Blog, documents revealed ahead of Wednesday’s Port Canaveral board of commission meeting show that the cruise line’s Cruise Terminal 8 (CT8) will be closed for a five-month refurbishment from June to October of next year.
