Scenic Joins WAVE Season with Amazing Offers on Rivers and Oceans
Scenic is riding the WAVE season with a cascade of special offerings for new bookings made by March 31, 2022.
On the rivers of Europe and SE Asia, Scenic is offering savings of up to 10% on all 2023 sailings if the booking is paid in full 12 months prior to departure; a $250 per guest bonus savings on 2022 departures if the trip is paid in full at booking; free Economy air on select seven- to nine-night cruises and $395 Economy Air on four-night itineraries; and free Premium Economy air on select sailings of 10 nights or longer.
River offers are combinable with loyalty bonus offers, travel show vouchers, early payment savings, future travel vouchers and groups.
On the oceans, guests booking accommodations on the World’s First Discovery Yacht™, Scenic Eclipse, can save up to 20% on 2022 North, Central and South American itineraries, and $350 savings on all other 2022 Scenic Eclipse sailings if paid in full at time of booking.
Guests on the 2022 North, Central and South American sailings can also take advantage of 2-for1 Business Class flights. Up to 20% savings is also being offered on 2023 Scenic Eclipse cruises, if paid in full 12 months before departure. These offers are combinable with groups.
Although Scenic’s many shore-based offerings often ‘steal the show,’ 2022 will also find an array of new onboard programs to further educate and entertain the guests. Every Scenic European-based Space-Ship now has an onboard Enrichment Manager. The Enrichment Manager hosts cabaret nights, cooking lessons, wine tastings, informative lectures and ensures guests fully enjoy their experience. Some of the new offerings include an onboard glass blower demonstration, painting classes for guests sailing the Rhône and a lecture from a tulip grower in the Netherlands.
Scenic will be partnering with Top Chef favorite Bryan Voltaggio for a special, culinary-themed departure of their popular South of France river cruise in October 2022. Guests booking this special departure will have multiple opportunities to interact with and learn from Chef Bryan – welcome reception, cooking demonstration, lectures, and a four-course meal specially created and prepared by Chef Bryan. The 11-day cruise, Spectacular South of France, sails round trip out of Lyon on October 20, 2022.
Scenic’s enrichment program (Scenic Enrich) has always been one of the true highlights for its guests – offering exclusivity and the opportunity for lifetime memories – and 2022 will see several new ones. Bordeaux’s immersive exhibition, Les Bassins de Lumières, is housed in a cavernous former submarine base that has been transformed into a vast center for digital art.
The largest of its kind in the world, Scenic guests will enjoy exclusive after-hours access to enjoy the stunning displays without the crowds. The exhibition visit is included on two of Scenic’s 2022 11-day river cruises – Beautiful Bordeaux and Flavours of Bordeaux Culinary Cruise.
The 15-day Jewels of Europe has added Motorworld, Cologne. This exclusive event for Scenic guests showcases the high-octane German motoring heritage and private collection of Formula 1 legend Michael Schumacher at Motorworld in Cologne. After a welcome drink with canapés, guests will enjoy an after-hours access guided tour of Motorworld. They can even put their pedal to the metal on one of the race simulators.
Scenic’s included Flexible Booking Policy allows guests to defer their travel plans or cancel up to 60 days prior to departure with no additional booking fees (third party fees may apply).
The company is working closely with CLIA and local governments to ensure safety operations adhere to all necessary guidelines.
