Scenic to launch Hooghly River cruises in India in 2027
The 44-guest Scenic Aura will operate nine-night river cruises as part of five India and Sri Lanka itineraries.
Scenic has announced five India and Sri Lanka journeys built around a nine-night cruise on West Bengal’s Hooghly River. The itineraries range from 17 to 25 days, with departures scheduled from September 2027 to March 2028.
The 44-guest Scenic Aura is being redesigned and refurbished ahead of its inaugural season. According to Scenic, each suite will have a private balcony, a separate bedroom and a Sun Lounge.
The river programme includes visits to Kathgola Palace, the Hooghly Imambara, the ISKCON Global Headquarters and the artisan community of Matiari.
