Azamara Cruises Opens Bookings for Its 195-Night 2029 World Cruise
The longest World Cruise available in 2029 takes guests across five continents, 40 countries and territories, and more than six months of immersive exploration.
Azamara Cruises today announced that bookings are officially open for its highly anticipated 2029 World Cruise, inviting guests to embark on a marquee 195-night journey aboard Azamara Quest from San Diego to Copenhagen, January 3 through July 17, 2029.
For the first time ever, as part of the 2029 World Cruise offering, Azamara is introducing three ways to experience one epic World Cruise, with two additional journeys of 179 and 139 nights opening for bookings October 14, 2026. Spanning five continents and 40 countries and territories, the full journey will spend 65% of its time in port, with 16 overnight stays and 60 late nights, giving guests more time in destination than any other 2029 World Cruise.
At 195 nights, the full journey will be the longest World Cruise available in 2029, tracing a remarkable route from North America through the South Pacific, Oceania and Asia before concluding in Northern Europe. Designed as a true circumnavigation with no repeat ports, the journey will visit 126 ports, including 12 maiden ports, offering deeper exploration across regions often overlooked on traditional World Cruise itineraries. The two shorter journeys will offer guests additional ways to experience the World Cruise at a length that best suits them.

A World Cruise Built for Deeper Discovery
The journey begins in San Diego before heading west to Hawaii and deep into the South Pacific, with calls across French Polynesia, Samoa and Fiji before continuing through Vanuatu, New Caledonia and Norfolk Island. In French Polynesia, guests will have multiple overnight stays in Mo’orea, Papeete and Bora Bora, creating additional opportunities to experience the region beyond a traditional port call. The journey crosses the International Date Line westbound on January 30.
Guests will then explore Oceania, visiting 11 ports in New Zealand, including Milford Sound, before experiencing 12ports across Australia, from Hobart to Darwin, as well as Exmouth, the gateway to Ningaloo Reef. The journey continues through Indonesia and Singapore before moving through Southeast Asia and onward to Hong Kong, Taiwan and China, with overnight and late-night calls providing additional time to explore beyond traditional daytime visits.
In Japan, guests will visit nine ports, including Hiroshima, one of the itinerary’s highest-rated ports. The journey then continues through Alaska, including Hubbard Glacier, before heading south through British Columbia and the Pacific Northwest, then onward through Central America and the Panama Canal to Colombia and Florida.
The sailing then heads north to New York before crossing the Atlantic to Ireland, the United Kingdom and France, continuing into Northern Europe. The final stretch through Northern Europe spans 12 different countries in the last 16 nights of the journey, including Germany, Denmark, Poland, Finland, Latvia and Sweden, before arriving in Copenhagen. The itinerary also crosses the International Date Line again, eastbound on May 7, meaning guests will experience the rare phenomenon of living one day twice while skipping another entirely.
More Time to Explore the World
With 60 late nights and 16 overnight stays, Azamara’s 2029 World Cruise provides guests more opportunities to experience destinations beyond traditional daytime visits, with 65% of the journey spent in port or experiencing a destination. That means more than three out of every five days are devoted to exploring the world, rather than sailing between destinations. Overnight and late-night calls include Sydney, Singapore, Tokyo, Osaka, Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City, Shanghai, Beijing and Cork, Ireland, among others.
The journey will also feature 15 complimentary AzAmazing Evenings, offering guests exclusive opportunities to experience the destinations they visit through special events and immersive cultural programming. Additional World Cruise-exclusive events and select Overland Experiences will offer further opportunities to connect with the people, places and cultures along the way.
Every World Cruise journey also includes the brand’s signature ‘Always Azamara’ onboard inclusions, from dining and room service to house wine and beer, gratuities, and complimentary self-service laundry, along with up to $44,000 in additional inclusions, including bonus onboard credit, a premium beverage package, unlimited wash & fold laundry, and more, giving guests more opportunities to focus on the destinations ahead.
Three Ways to Experience One Epic World Cruise
While bookings for the full 195-night World Cruise open today, Azamara will also offer two shorter ways to experience the journey, with both opening for bookings October 14, 2026. The 179-night journey from San Diego to London will sail January 3 through July 1, 2029, spanning five continents with 52 late nights, 16 overnight stays and 12 maiden ports, while the 139-night journey from Sydney to Copenhagen will sail March 1 through July 17, 2029, also spanning five continents with 43 late nights, 11 overnight stays and four maiden ports.
For guests looking to experience select portions of the journey, the 2029 World Cruise will also be available through 16 individual segments ranging from seven to 20 nights, all open for booking in 2027. All three World Cruise journeys will sail aboard Azamara Quest, the same ship hosting Azamara’s 2027 World Cruise.
As part of the opening, Azamara is also offering limited-time loyalty discounts ranging from 6% to 12% off on all three World Cruise journeys. The full 195-night journey is eligible for the promotion during the first 80 days of booking, while the two shorter journeys are eligible for the first 60 days.
