New Alaska Cruise Terminal Destroyed in Massive Fire
An $80 million cruise ship dock in Alaska was destroyed after a fire broke out on Monday at the Chugach Glacier Gateway Cruise Terminal in Whittier.
According to Anchorage Daily News, the state’s fire marshal’s office described the damage as a “total loss.”
The fire was reported around 11 a.m. and wasn’t fully extinguished until around 12:30 p.m. the following day.
