Rockland gears up for 2026 cruise ship season; first ship arrives Sept. 6

Rockland’s 2026 fall cruise season will begin Sunday, September 6, when Celebrity Silhouette arrives in Rockland Harbor for the first of four scheduled visits.

In total, Rockland is scheduled to welcome nine cruise ships and approximately 13,672 cruise passengers through October 22, according to a Sept. 1 news release from the City of Rockland.

In addition to the Celebrity Silhouette, this year’s schedule includes visits from Scenic Eclipse, Star Pride and Seabourn Ovation.

While ashore, passengers will explore Rockland and the Midcoast, visiting city museums and galleries, restaurants, shops, the waterfront, and other downtown destinations.
