Rochelle Streater, Managing Director at Sailawaze: “We founded Sailawaze in order to break the historical myths of cruising. Sailawaze Live gives our Cruise partners the opportunity to showcase the incredible experiences available onboard, and via excursions during a cruise vacation. There are so many incredible wellness, adventure, entertainment and food and drink offerings on cruise ships these days. We want to bring those to life at Sailawaze Live. We aim to help change the perception of the industry, and encourage those who have yet to take a cruise vacation to book there and then. We will be marketing this part of the event separately from Family Traveller Live. Targeting the 40-60 year old demographic. There will be seminars and activations covering all elements of the industry, including luxury, river, expedition, family, LGBTQ+ etc.”
Andrew Dent, Founder & CEO of Family Traveller and Sailawaze comments on the popularity of the event so far: “The fact that some of our marquee activations including the Zip Line and Abseiling have nearly sold out after just three days of public release, goes to show the appetite there is for this sort of day out from those considering a cruise holiday. In a world of digital and AI, our show gives travel and cruise brands the opportunity to connect directly with their customers. We look forward to welcoming everyone to Allianz Stadium, Twickenham at the end of March 2025.”
For any cruise industry partners or destinations there are multiple opportunities for getting involved. From exhibiting, sponsoring an activation, participating in the panel discussions, hosting a food/ wine experience in the demo kitchen. The show’s target demographic is household income over £75,000 and catchment area includes 3 million households within a 90 minute drive from Twickenham including Southampton and the South Coast
Marketing teams looking to capitalise on the iconic Allianz Stadium venue, can also purchase advertising slots on the stadium jumbotron screens, which can be used for running TV adverts or digital advertising.
Finally, it wouldn’t be a trip to the Allianz Stadium, Twickenham without some rugby thrown into the mix. Across the weekend visitors can book stadium tours and visit the World Rugby Museum.
