Michelin-starred chef Kevin Fehling will once again be welcoming guests in person at THE GLOBE on board the EUROPA in 2027
On the Hapag-Lloyd Cruises ship EUROPA, culinary delights take centre stage all year round. In 2027, three-starred chef Kevin Fehling will be on board for seven cruises, captivating guests in his restaurant THE GLOBE with his unmistakable culinary style.
Next year, Kevin Fehling will once again be welcoming guests to his restaurant THE GLOBE on board the EUROPA.
“For me, the EUROPA is more than just a ship. It’s a part of my life. I came on board here as a Smutje (or ship’s cook) around 25 years ago. Back then, I could never have imagined that I would now have been running my own restaurant on the EUROPA for seven years. THE GLOBE is something very special to me. My culinary concept combines gourmet-level indulgence with special moments and experiences that make the cruise unforgettable for guests,” says Kevin Fehling.
Amidst stars, planets and personal stories
In HafenCity in the heart of Hamburg, Kevin Fehling has found his culinary terrain ashore. With his restaurant The Table, he successfully defended his three Michelin stars for the eleventh time in June this year. The restaurant features an impressive degree of modernity and exclusivity.
In THE GLOBE restaurant on the EUROPA, Kevin Fehling focuses on personal storytelling. Through his distinctive dishes, he takes guests on the journeys he himself experienced on board the EUROPA some 25 years ago. His creations are inspired by the cosmopolitan spirit of travel. They combine subtlety and elegance with depth of flavour and culinary aromas. During his time on the EUROPA, the amateur astrologer enjoyed spending his free time on the ship’s upper deck observing the starry sky. This is reflected today in THE GLOBE, with lamps hanging from the ceiling like planets and pictures on the walls that tell personal stories of his travels. Another special touch is the welcome letter that every guest receives. In it, Kevin Fehling invites guests to experience his culinary concept and tells them of his travels.
Seven occasions of top-class cuisine with Kevin Fehling on the EUROPA
Next year, Kevin Fehling will set off on no less that seven cruises. On these itineraries, the culinary experience on board the EUROPA will take on a special significance on select days when guests can meet the three-starred chef in person in THE GLOBE.

Three-starred chef Kevin Fehling will be on board in person on selected dates. An early booking discount is available for specified cruises from May to September 2027, valid on bookings made by 31 Oct 2026.
