Victoria welcomes nearly 30k cruise ship passengers during one of summer’s busiest weekends
Downtown Victoria is buzzing with tourists as nearly 30,000 cruise ship passengers visit from July 10-12, marking one of the busiest weekends of the 2026 summer cruise season.
The Greater Victoria Harbour Authority (GVHA) says 10 cruise ships will be docking at Ogden Point to bring thousands of visitors into the city, creating an economic boost for local restaurants, attractions, shops, tour operators and waterfront businesses.
All of the vessels are stopping in Victoria on their way to or from Alaska.
