Record 1.4 million cruise ship passengers expected at Canada Place terminal in downtown Vancouver in 2026
For the third consecutive year, Disney Cruise Line is kicking off Vancouver’s cruise ship season — this time with a much earlier official start than in previous years.
The 2026 cruise ship season at the Canada Place terminal in downtown Vancouver will begin on Feb. 26 with the arrival of the Disney Wonder. The ship will stop at Canada Place, where passengers will disembark and embark, and the vessel will re-supply before continuing its journey south.
There will be a weeks-long break before Canada Place sees its next cruise ship, when the Nieuw Amsterdam arrives on April 11, followed by a handful of additional ships before the end of April.
