Baton Rouge leaders are considering a plan they believe could reshape downtown and bring more visitors along with the tax dollars they generate.
City-parish officials are exploring a contract with American Cruise Lines to upgrade the Paperclip Dock along the downtown riverfront.
The dock, which has long been a popular stop for river cruise vessels, is considered a safety concern for both cruise lines and passengers boarding and exiting ships.
