Taiwan’s Penghu welcomes 1,800 cruise travelers from Hong Kong
A cruise ship took 1,800 travelers from Hong Kong and Macau to Penghu on Tuesday morning.
The 77,740-tonne Star Voyager is the largest cruise ship to have docked at Magong so far this year, per CNA. The visitors are scheduled to spend half a day on the island county.
The ship sailed from Hong Kong to Kaohsiung before arriving in Penghu early Tuesday. Malaysian-owned Star Cruises has planned seven similar trips until October.
