Island Princess cruise ship returns to Dominican Republic after 15-year absence
After a 15-year absence, the Island Princess cruise ship from Princess Cruises is set to return to a Dominican port.
The Dominican Port Authority (Apordom) announced that the ship will dock at the Amber Cove terminal in Puerto Plata on July 8, marking a significant milestone in the country’s growing cruise tourism sector.
Apordom’s Executive Director, Jean Luis Rodríguez, emphasized the importance of this return, highlighting it as a sign of renewed trust in the Dominican Republic as a cruise destination.
