Japanese Cruise Line Mitsui Ocean Cruises Enters North American Market
Japanese cruise operator Mitsui Ocean Cruises has announced its entry into the North American market, marking the first time the 140-year-old company will sell directly to U.S. and Canadian travelers.
The company has partnered with Architects of Travel to spearhead its sales and marketing efforts in North America.
The cruise line’s flagship vessel, Mitsui Ocean Fuji (formerly Seabourn Odyssey), launched in December 2024. The 32,477-ton ship accommodates 458 guests in all-suite accommodations and features Japanese-inspired amenities throughout.
