Marella cancels first post-refit cruise on Discovery 2
Marella Cruises has cancelled this week’s planned sailing on board its ship Discovery 2, because of a refit delay.
The ship is in dry dock in Cadiz, undergoing a full refurbishment of balcony cabins and suites, as well as a hull repaint and propeller polish and had been due to resume sailing on 7 November.
However, the maintenance period has been extended and TUI said the delay is due to extreme weather conditions in southern Spain.
